2001 Honda XR650R (Titled/Plated in Colorado)
This is something that I have wanted to do for a LONG time. Some say I'm crazy, or that I must be rich. Neither is the case, I just would love to see the bike go to a good home and raise money for a good cause. I hope the winner of the auction can use the bike and enjoy it like I have for 10 years and 100,000+ miles. Plus you will be helping to raise money for Veterans to have fun and to get much needed help through 'Motorcycle Relief Project'. This bike is a testament to the build quality of Honda and is probably will be remembered as a very important part of motorcycling history.
Morgan at Highland Cycle's has taken on the task of installing new parts, and more importantly getting the bike ready for it's new home. Without him, I probably wouldn't be able to make this happen, a stand up guy that love riding, and loves his Big Red Pig (BRP) that he also owns.
However I'll need all of your help! GoFundMe - This is for those that don't want a bike themselves but like the idea of Auctioning of a motorcycle to raise funds for 'Motorcycle Relief Project'. This would be used not to fund Morgan or myself but for parts that we may need or want to install to make for a nice bike to raise as much money for 'Motorcycle Relief Project' as possible as that is the purpose of this whole endeavor. Companies due to 2020 are down on cash and the ability to give so this is an option for YOU the normal person to help US make this come true. Any extra monies not used for the bike build will be donated to 'Motorcycle Relief Project'. (Click here for the GoFundMe)
AUCTION: - NOT YET STARTED
To raise as much money for 'Motorcycle Relief Project' as possible.
Rules of Auction:
This will be an eBay auction that is connected to 'Motorcycle Relief Project' as they are listed with eBay as a Non-Profit. This is the easiest way to handle the auction and the funds etc. You will need to follow all eBay rules and guidelines for bidding but this allows us to open the bike up to everyone as long as you are willing to come to Colorado to pickup the motorcycle.
